Tanah Lot, the back way.

Tanah Lot is the classic Canggu day trip — the sea temple on its rock, best at sunset, 45 minutes from the corridor if you take the road worth taking. Skip the main-road slog: ride north through Pererenan, pick up the lanes through Tumbak Bayuh, and follow the paddies most of the way there. Any of our bikes handles it. The ADV is the most comfortable on the rougher paddy lanes; the NMAX does it perfectly well. Time it to arrive an hour before sunset: temple first, then the cliff-side warungs for the main event.
