The questions
worth asking.
If something isn't covered here, message us on WhatsApp — we'd rather answer a question upfront than have you guessing.
/ Licences
What licence do I need to rent?
You'll need a valid motorcycle licence from your home country, plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) that covers motorcycles. If you don't have an IDP yet, we'll walk you through the process — it's usually arranged through your national automobile association before you travel. Riding without the correct licence is a legal requirement in Indonesia, and we'll always check yours before handing over a bike.
Do I need an Indonesian SIM C?
Indonesian residents need a local SIM C. As a tourist or short-stay visitor, an IDP endorsed for motorcycles (Category A) is the accepted equivalent. If you're unsure whether your specific licence situation is covered, message us before booking — we'd rather sort it out upfront.
/ Insurance and Damage
What's the damage excess?
IDR 500,000 for our standard fleet (NMAX 155, ADV 160). IDR 1,000,000 for the XMAX 250. That's the maximum you pay in the event of an accident. There is no deposit held in cash or on a card. The excess is only charged if there is actual damage — pre-existing scuffs documented at handover won't be counted against you.
What happens if I have an accident?
Call us immediately. We'll assist with roadside support and walk you through the process. If the bike is damaged, we document it together at the point of return and agree the repair cost. If the cost is within the excess amount, you pay the actual repair cost up to the excess ceiling. We keep a condition record at handover so there are no disputes.
What about theft?
Theft is covered under the rental insurance with an IDR 1,000,000 excess for all bikes. Keep the bike locked whenever it's parked, and report any theft to us and local police immediately. Do not leave the bike overnight in an unsecured location.
/ Delivery and Location
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to two zones: the Canggu corridor (covering Canggu, Berawa, Pererenan, and Batu Bolong) and the Ubud area. If you're staying just outside either zone, message us — we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you and at what time. Uluwatu is our next planned location; message us to register your interest and we'll notify you when it opens.
Can I ride to Seminyak? Uluwatu? Anywhere else on Bali?
Yes. Once the bike is with you, you can ride anywhere on Bali — Seminyak, Uluwatu, Kuta, the north, wherever. We deliver to Canggu and Ubud; from there the island is yours. We just ask that the bikes stay on Bali: no ferry crossings to Lombok, Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, or any other island.
What are your delivery hours?
We aim to deliver between 08:00 and 20:00 daily. If you need an early morning or late delivery, let us know when you book — we'll do our best to accommodate.
/ Rentals and Payment
How does payment work?
You pay on delivery. We accept cash (IDR) and QRIS. No payment is required upfront to confirm a booking — your WhatsApp conversation is your confirmation. We don't hold deposits on cards.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Message us at least 24 hours before your end date and we'll confirm extension pricing. Monthly renters get a renewal message via WhatsApp seven days before their end date.
What happens if the bike breaks down?
Message us immediately with your location. We'll send a mechanic or swap the bike. Normal mechanical failures are our responsibility — you're not charged for breakdowns caused by the bike rather than rider error.
