Canggu to Uluwatu. Worth every minute.
The Uluwatu run is the biggest day trip on the Canggu list: cliffs, the temple, a sunset that earns its reputation, and surf breaks with names you already know. Allow about 75 minutes each way — down through Kerobokan and Kuta's edges, across the airport underpass, then up onto the Bukit where the traffic finally thins.
This is XMAX territory: the distance, the bypass stretch, and a passenger all favour the 250. The ADV handles it well too. And if you'd rather skip the ride down entirely — we deliver on the Bukit itself: free on weekly and monthly rentals, delivery fee on dailies, quoted on WhatsApp.

Route and timing notes
Leave Canggu by 14:00 for a sunset at the temple — the stretch past Kuta and the airport is the slow part, and it's slower after 15:00. Fuel before the Bukit climb, park in the temple's paid lot, and mind the monkeys: sunglasses and phones are their retirement plan. The ride home in the dark is fine on the main roads, but the XMAX's lights and presence make it distinctly more relaxed.
Staying down south a few nights? Take the bike with you — same rental, same rate, and the Bukit's warungs, breaks and back lanes are far better explored on two wheels than by taxi queue.
