What we check, and why it protects you
At handover we verify your motorcycle licence and IDP — not as bureaucracy, but because riding unlicensed can void insurance cover and exposes you at police stops. If your paperwork isn't in order yet, sort that first; the bike will still be here.
Start early in the morning when the roads are quiet, stay off the main strip for the first day, and treat rain as a reason to stop for coffee. The bike has insurance with a capped excess and 24/7 roadside support behind it — but the best safety feature is a rider who isn't in over their head.
