Learn in a car park, not in traffic.
We don't teach riding — and we won't hand a bike to someone who can't. Happily, Canggu has a genuine scooter-school scene that fills that gap properly: professional instructors running structured lessons with hundreds of five-star reviews, bookable through GetYourGuide, Viator, and Airbnb Experiences (search "scooter lesson Canggu" on any of them).
A typical two-hour lesson covers throttle and brake control in a closed area, slow-speed balance, and a first supervised road ride. That plus a motorcycle licence and IDP from home is the honest path onto Bali's roads — and by the time you message us, the handover licence check is a formality instead of a disappointment.

Why we'd rather you learn first
A rider who's had one good lesson is visibly different at handover — smoother on the throttle, checks the brakes without prompting, doesn't wobble off the kerb. It's better for you, better for the bike, and better for everyone else on Jalan Batu Bolong. The schools aren't ours and we take no commission; we recommend them because the alternative is people learning by accident, sometimes literally.
