The mechanics in the threads are consistent across a decade. Monthly rates are negotiated directly and sit far below thirty times the daily rate — commenters in the October 2025 thread quote IDR 70K–250K per day for short rentals, and everyone agrees a month should cost a fraction of that arithmetic. Long-stayers are the market's favourite customer: one handover instead of ten, so the discount is real.

Who should take the cheap deal instead
Honestly: a confident solo rider on a tight budget, staying put, who can absorb a lost day when the bike needs attention, and who photographs everything at handover. That renter is well served by the street market and doesn't need us.
